How many guests can you draw on the day? Each illustration takes around 18~25 minutes. Depending on your package. I'll be able to draw 15-60 guests live at your event. Still worried someone might miss out? No worries - I'll finish the rest in my studio and post them to you after (included in the price!).
Why do you use an iPad and not "real" pens or paints? Great question! I use an iPad with Procreate because: It allows me to draw quickly and cleanly on the day Digital Format = extra security (no smudging, no losing originals!) I can print on the spot for your guests to take home (two guests in one image they can get the print x) You can receive digital copies afterwards if you want (add-on item) And honestly... it's less messy than carrying watercolours in a wedding venue
What do the printed portraits look like? Each guest receives a printed A6 portrait on 300gsm premium card stock - sturdy, smooth, and perfect for popping in a frame or keeping as a memento. Prints are ready within moments of the sketch being completed - it's part of the magic!
Do I need to provide anything for the setup? Just a friendly space (and a chair!) and access to a power socket for my iPad and printer - that's all I need. No glitter explosions, no paint spills - just good vibes and great guests.
Will you be coming alone? Nope! There’ll be two of us at your wedding to speed things up – one drawing, one printing – so more guests can take home their portraits.
Will the setup match our wedding style? Absolutely. Once you’ve shared your wedding theme with me, I’ll design the table setup to blend in beautifully with your décor. You’ll also receive a free couple portrait to add a personal touch to the display.
What if guests don’t notice the sketching? No need to worry – you just enjoy your day! I’ll wander around inviting guests to be drawn. Once the first couple are done, the rest usually come over on their own. Trust me – it gets popular fast!
Do you only work in Cheshire? I'm based in CW8 (Northwich area) and happily cover weddings across the UK. *No travel charge within 30 miles of CW8 *Beyond that, it's £0.5 per mile *For longer distances, overnight accommodation might be needed - but I'll always confirm this in your quote so there are no surprises.
What if we've got loads of guests and not enough time? No stress! We can create a VIP sketch list ahead of time to make sure your nearest and dearest get drawn. Or you can upgrade your package for more sketching hours - we're flexible!
Can you draw us (the couple) too? Absolutely! A couple portrait is part of the package – and after the big day, you’ll also receive a special illustration of you both in your wedding outfits, sent to you within a week. It’s a lovely keepsake, perfect for remembering the magic!
Can you draw pets too? YES! If your pet is part of your big day (ring bearer, flower dog, or just general chaos coordinator), I'd be thrilled to sketch them. Bring treats.
How do we book you? Simply send me an enquiry with your wedding date, location, and approximate guest numbers. A non-refundable £100 deposit secures your booking The remaining balance is due 4 weeks before the event. *You will receive a couple portrait before your big day as a gift x It will be present on the table on your wedding day
